Build.ca is proud to offer Free Shipping on any order over $49.00 (before taxes). If your order is less than $49.00 (before taxes) you will be charged a flat rate shipping fee. Build.ca charges a flat shipping rate fee of $12.99 per order to all Provinces and $79.99 to Territories across Canada. Shipments to the Canadian territories do not qualify for shipping promotions. Territory shipping is $79.99 flat-rate shipping. * Oversized products do not qualify for Free Shipping promotion. Please contact Customer Care at 1-888-461-1112 before placing your order to verify. Customer Service Agent will advise of any additional freight charges before order is fulfilled and shipped.

Build.ca Same Day Shipping Guarantee. Place your order by 4:00pm local time, Monday to Friday, and your order will be shipped the very same day. In-stock items ship within one (1) business day.

Special orders or items that are not in stock may require additional shipping time, to an average of 7 to 14 business days. All special orders are subject to a 100% deposit and are non-cancellable and non-returnable. Special orders and items that are not in stock are displayed online. All amounts displayed online and all shipping and/or handling charges are displayed and charged in Canadian funds.

Once your order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation email. As well, once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with your individual tracking number in order to monitor your order from our shipping partners.

Build.ca will endeavour in good faith to ship all orders as soon as possible, but cannot guarantee delivery by a specific delivery date, and will not be liable for any delay in delivery, including but not limited to as a result of non-performance caused by an act of God, war, labour disputes, civil unrest, accidents, the inability to obtain materials, delays of carriers, contractors or suppliers or any other causes of any kind which is beyond the control of Build.ca. Please contact Build.ca to inquire about orders with more specific shipping requirements.

Build.ca reserves the right to select its carrier of choice for all shipments and makes use of Canada Post, Purolator, and other common commercial couriers. All shipments must be signed for. Please specify any delivery instructions in the comment section of your order, including requests that orders be held for pickup at post office or courier depot.

All orders are shipped F.O.B. point of shipment and risk of loss will transfer from Build.ca to Buyer upon tender of products to Buyer, Buyer's representative or applicable common carrier. Accordingly, Build.ca is not responsible for any loss or damage to orders during transit. In the event of damage caused by carrier, please retain any damaged cartons or other packaging for carrier inspection.

Buyer shall examine all products upon receipt. All claims for damage, shortage, errors in shipment or improper delivery must be made within 24 hours of delivery after which date Buyer will be deemed to have irrevocably accepted the products, if not previously accepted, and will have no right to reject the products or to revoke acceptance. You must provide your delivery tag/waybill number, packing slip number and account number to Build.ca Customer Care at 1-888-461-1112 or customerservice@build.ca.

Return Policy

Build.ca offers a No Hassle return policy. You may return any product purchased except electrical products or special orders within 30 days of receiving your order. All returned products must be in new condition, suitable for resale in its undamaged original packaging and with all original parts; and shall not have been used, installed, modified, rebuilt, reconditioned, repaired, altered or damaged in any way. Some returns may be subject to a 25% re-stocking fee, unless otherwise agreed to by Build.ca. Shipping and handling charges will not be refunded. Should any product require return due to a shipping error of Build.ca, we will provide return shipping information and cover all return shipping costs. All other returns are at customer's expense.

All returns must be accompanied by a Return Goods Authorization Number (RGA). To request an RGA number, please fill out the RGA request form by clicking here. Requests will be responded to within one business day and you will receive a response indicating either the approval or denial of your return request. If your return request is approved, you will receive a RGA and instructions on making the return. The RGA provided must appear on the outside of any packaging as well as any paperwork included. Only items with an approved RGA will be accepted.

1. ACCEPTANCE OF ORDERS:
All orders are subject to acceptance by Build.ca, which acceptance is contingent on adequate supply.

2. CANCELLATION:
Buyer may not cancel, change or modify an order without the written consent of Build.ca and payment by Buyer of all applicable cancellation and/or re-stocking fees. Special order items may not be cancelled or returned and no refunds will be issued thereof.

3. PRICE:
All prices are subject to change from time to time otherwise noted. Buyer will be invoiced at prices in effect at the time of shipment. All taxes, shipping and handling costs and other similar charges are in addition to quoted prices.

4. TAXES:
All Canadian orders are subject to sales, products and services and/or harmonized sales taxes in accordance with those applicable in the province of the Buyer's destination.

5. PAYMENT:
Orders are processed immediately upon checkout at Build.ca online. Build.ca accepts payment by all major credit cards and PayPal.

6. CASE QUANTITIES:
Full case quantities of certain products are provided for reference only. Case quantities are provided by the applicable manufacturer and are subject to change without notice.

7. WARRANTY:
Manufacturer warranty information is displayed by Build.ca for reference only. Build.ca is not a warranty claim provider for these manufacturers. Build.ca warrants only title to products sold, supplied or delivered to Buyer. All other warranties are those of the applicable manufacturer. Warranty claims in respect of such products must be arranged through the applicable manufacturer directly. Such products cannot be returned to Build.ca for warranty service claims or replacement and manufacturers will not approve warranty claims on such products that have been uninstalled and returned to Build.ca. Buyer waives any right to legal action against Build.ca for damage caused by the products sold, supplied or delivered by Build.ca, which includes and not limited to environmental damages.

8. BACK ORDERS:
Items which are not shipped are back-ordered for future shipment unless Buyer cancels its order, in whole or in part, in accordance with these Terms and Conditions of Sale. Buyer will be notified with back-order information as the need arises.

9. SET-OFF:
Buyer is not entitled to set-off any amounts due to Build.ca by any amount that may be due by Build.ca to Buyer in connection with any transaction governed by these Terms and Conditions of Sale.

10. BUILDER'S LIENS:
Buyer acknowledges and agrees that, in the event that Buyer purchases products from Build.ca and supplies or incorporates such materials in respect of an improvement pursuant to the applicable provincial construction or builder's lien legislation, Build.ca reserves its rights under such legislation and Buyer further agrees that such products will be deemed to have been purchased pursuant to a prevenient arrangement and that one continuing contract is deemed to be in place.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
IN NO EVENT WILL Build.ca'S LIABILITY, IF ANY, EXCEED THE NET SALES PRICE OF THE PRODUCTS SOLD, SUPPLIED OR DELIVERED TO BUYER AND Build.ca WILL NOT, IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, LIQUIDATED OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES SUFFERED BY BUYER.

12. DEFAULT:
If Buyer is in default of these Terms and Conditions of Sale, Build.ca may, at its option, cancel any unexecuted portion of any order to which these Terms and Conditions of Sale apply and/or exercise any right or remedy, which may be available to it at law. Buyer will be in default under these Terms and Conditions of Sale if: (a) the Buyer fails to perform any covenant, term or condition contained herein or breaches any representation or warranty given by Buyer to Build.ca; (b) Buyer fails to give a required notice to Build.ca.

13. INDEMNIFICATION:
Buyer shall indemnify, hold harmless and defend Build.ca, its affiliates and their respective employees, officers, directors and agents from and against any action, cause of action, judgment or claim for damages to property (including environmental damages) or bodily injury, loss of life or any other liability, cost or expense of any nature as a result of the breach of any applicable laws or regulations or these Terms and Conditions of Sale, in connection with the installation, use or repair by Buyer of the products sold, supplied or delivered by Build.ca.

14. SEVERABILITY:
These Terms and Conditions of Sale will be construed as if prepared jointly by the parties hereto and any uncertainty or ambiguity will not be interpreted against any one party. If any of the provisions contained in these Terms and Conditions of Sale are held to be unenforceable then such provision will be given effect in such reduced form as may be decided by a court of competent jurisdiction; provided, however, that if any provision should be declared unenforceable or invalid for any reason, such unenforceable or invalid provisions will be severed from the remainder of these Terms and Conditions of Sale without affecting the enforceability or validity of the remaining provisions.

15. NON-WAIVER:
The failure of Build.ca to insist upon the strict performance of any of these Terms and Conditions of Sale will not be deemed to be a waiver of any of the right or remedies of Build.ca, nor of its right to insist upon strict performance of such term or of any other term in the future. No waiver of any of these Terms and Conditions of Sale will be valid unless in writing signed by Build.ca.

16. GOVERNING LAW:
These Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by the laws of the province in which the Buyer transacts business with Build.ca and Buyer hereby irrevocably attorns to the jurisdiction of the courts of such province. All actions, regardless of form, arising out of or related to a transaction governed by these Terms and Conditions of Sale must be brought against Build.ca within the applicable statutory period, but in no event more than one (1) year after the date of the relevant invoice.
