JCD type halogen lamps are line voltage (120-130 volt) halogen capsules with pin bases, such as GY6.35, G4 or G6.35. They can be used for retail applications, under-cabinet, landscape and museums.

Although they belong to the incandescent family, halogen lamps are designed to provide crisp white light, long life and constant lumen maintenance, making them ideal for many applications. Halogen lamps allow for accurate control over light beams. They can also be used in the most compact and stylish fixture designs since they are light weight and smaller in size than traditional incandescent lamps. The use of halogen gas allows the lamps to burn slower without sacrificing light output.
